    About This Cause

High impact sustainable solutions are difficult to achieve in one generation. However, they need to be started now for the future generations to benefit from them. These projects have come from real global shortage of protein, flooding of the Mississippi River and maritime issues our country faces today. We are undertaking these projects to help feed and empower 8.5 billion people expected by 2030. Andrew J. Young Foundation is a community based 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity that has been built upon Civil Rights leader Andrew Young’s philosophy of non-violent change and a belief that unto whom much is given, much is required. Besides supporting educational, Civil and Human Rights institutions, the foundation incubates Social Innovations that have the potential to solve the basic needs of people living in poverty in America, Africa and across the globe. Through their projects, the foundation is currently focused upon finding sustainable solutions for food security and fighting malnutrition, job creation, and economic development. These solutions are poised to empower underserved populations and uplift the quality of life in the society worldwide.
