Modi’s autograph makes a ‘celeb’ of tent-collapse girl
Bankura: This Bankura Christian College second-year student never thought an autograph from Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make her an overnight celebrity in her Salgera village in Bankura’s Ranibandh, 230km from Kolkata.
Rita Mudi’s new-found fame has also landed two marriage proposals at the 19-year-old’s doorstep and in one case, the Jharkhand-based trader groom didn’t even want anything to marry her.The other was from an agricultural land owner from Chatna in Bankura.
It isn’t without reason Rita is slightly anxious as she sets out to attend college on Friday.
